What are Overdentures?

When all the teeth (or most) are missing, we advise overdentures. They are replacement teeth but they are further retained by dental implants making them incredibly durable and more likely to regenerate natural growth. Overdentures were developed to help patients that have one, multiple or all of their teeth missing. This way they can regain a quality of life, which most likely has been missing since they lost their teeth.

The procedure involves dental implants that attach to and grow with the bone so it can look natural. This creates a stable foundation for any future dentures and helps keep bone active and stimulated to slow bone loss.
